This would have been great but I was getting terrible feedback. I needed my laptop that was muted for the visual component and was planning to call in with the conference phone for the audio but with those two things in the same room caused a great deal of feedback even when my computer was muted and mic turned off.

Here is how I rigged it. I had my surface pro connected to the projector to project the virtual attendees on the screen and to capture the room with my webcam over the room and then purchased a day before a blue tooth speaker that I had to move around the room because it didn’t pick up everyone. I thought I had the plan covered with the spider conference phone but that gave me horrible feedback so I found this great blue tooth speaker that connects to my surface pro but didn’t pick up everyone.

Yeah that does sound tricky. I can’t vouch for that one directly, but at Cabinet we’ve used a smaller Jabra conference speaker for smaller meetings and it’s fantastic! With in my initial plan, I know I muted my computer and Webcam while I used the conference spider phone and there was still feedback. That is why I went with blue tooth option you shared. That is such a perfect speaker and mic for a smaller setting. I recommend to anyone.
